A place for small logs and process notes

A good notes section is useful because it captures the things that are easy to forget: why a model failed, what made a plot clearer, or what design choice made a prototype easier to use.

These notes do not need to be polished. In fact, they are often more valuable when they are concise, specific, and written close to the work.
